New Mexico Bingo Net Casinos vs. Gambling on Bingo
Dec 142021

An abundance has been written in the papers just a while ago about the bingo industry being hit because of the cigarette ban in Britain. Things have become so awful that in Scotland the Bingo industry has called for huge aid to assist in keeping the industry afloat. However will the internet version of this traditional game present a salvation, or might it not compare to its land based kin?

Bingo has been an ancient game generally enjoyed by the "blue haired" generation. For all that the game recently had witnessed a recent resurgence in popularity with younger men and women deciding to hit the bingo parlors in place of the discos on a Saturday night. All this is about to get flipped on its head with the introduction of the anti smoking law throughout Britain.

No longer will enthusiasts be permitted to smoke while dabbing numbers. Beginning in the summer of ‘07 all public locations will no longer be permitted to allow cigarettes in their locations and this includes Bingo parlours, which are possibly the most common areas where folks like to smoke.

The outcome of the cigarette ban can already be seen in Scotland where cigarettes are already barred in the bingo halls. Profits have dropped and the business is literally fighting for its life. But where did the players go? Certainly they have not abandoned this ancient game?

The answer is on the web. Players realize that they can enjoy bingo in front of their computer at the same time enjoying a cocktail and cig and still enjoy big cash rewards. This is a recent development and has happened almost perfectly with the ban on smoking.

Of course playing online can never replace the communal part of heading over to the bingo hall, but for a group of players the rules have left a number of bingo enthusiasts with no alternative.
